Hawaii Volcano Lava Flow
If you have ever wanted to truly experience a Hawaii Volcano now is the time! Kilauea is currently having lava flow into the ocean resulting in a beautiful display from Mother Nature. This Hawaii Volcano has been erupting continuously since 1983 from the Pu’u O’o vent.
We were in awe of these beautiful photos from Caters New Agency taken during previous lava flows. Two photographers risked their lives to take photos of the fiery lava in extreme conditions. Nick Selway and CJ Kale braved 110 degree F waters to capture these stunning images. Despite the dangerous occupation Mr. Kale said “It’s such an extraordinary experience and we feel lucky to be able to turn our photography into what we do for a living. The views are really something special and completely unique every time. I wouldn’t rather be doing anything else.”

Paradise Helicopters sent us these videos yesterday of the current lava flow at Royal Gardens and Pu’u O’o Vent Skylight overflowing into the center.
If you want to experience the Current Lava Flow of this Hawaii Volcano remember to be safe. Do not attempt to view it on your own. There are a variety of Hawaii Volcano Tours and Big Island Helicopter Tours that can give you a great view of this spectacular show while putting safety first. When planning a Hawaii Volcano tour please remember that Mother Nature calls the shots and conditions can change at any time.
Check out the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park website for current conditions of the lava flow. You can also call (808) 967-8862 for updates.
