Hawaiian Leis – Maui Lei Greeting

Hawaiian Leis

When we stepped off Hawaiian Airlines at the Kahului Airport on Maui we were greeted by a friendly Lei Greeter with beautiful Hawaiian Leis.

Maui Lei Greetings offer a variety of Hawaiian Leis including Standard Leis, Superior Leis, Deluxe Leis, Kukui Nut Leis, Ti Leis, Tuberose Leis and Cigar Leis. I was presented with a Tuberose Lei.  The beautiful Tuberose Leis have a stronger, sweeter fragrance than Standard Leis. I loved wearing it not only for its beauty but also for its scent.

John was given a Ti Lei. The braided green ti leaf is a good luck lei!

Hawaiian Leis are a great way to start a Maui Vacation. A traditional flower lei greeting when you arrive on Maui at the Kahului International Airport is a perfect way to bring back the nostalgia of old Hawaii. It is a warm way to begin a Hawaii vacation.

Hawaii Discount offers Honolulu Lei Greetings, Kona Lei Greetings, Maui Lei Greetings and Kauai Lei Greetings.

Check out my previous posts on my Honolulu Lei Greetings and Kona Lei Greetings to see some of the beautiful Hawaiian Leis available on the islands. My previous post Hawaiian Flower Leis – Meaning and Etiquette reveals the meanings of Hawaiian Leis. I also posted about what to do with your Hawaiian Lei when you are done with it (Hint: Hawaiian Leis are a gift of welcome and love therefore it is not something you want to throw away). Check out that post here.

Hawaii Discount also offers Kukui Nut Bracelets that can be added on to your Lei Greeting order! Kukui Nut Leis symbolized royalty. Kukui Nut Leis are given to show respect or appreciation. Unlike fresh flower leis, Kukui Nut Leis last forever and they are a great keepsake from your Hawaii Vacation.

No matter the occasion Hawaii Discount has the perfect Hawaiian Leis for you! Have you received Hawaiian Leis?  What is your favorite type of lei greeting?
